Preschool

Preschool 2024/2025

Our Preschool program (funded by First 5 Kern, for ages 3.5 to 5) is now accepting interest forms for the 2024/2025 school year.

If you do not have a MyRec account, you will need to create one in order to complete the form.

For those who complete the initial questionnaire prior to July 1, we will contact you no later than July 25 to let you know of the status of your child's questionnaire; if applicable, registration will begin at that time. The school year starts the week of September 4, 2023.

Only children who meet the age guidelines will be considered for enrollment for the start of the school year. Those not meeting the age criteria will remain on the waiting list for later opportunities and/or if openings arise. A waiting list will begin as of July 2, 2024.

Student Requirements
* AM Class (8:30-11:00am) - 4 years old by 8/31/2024
* PM Class (12:00-2:00pm) - 3 years old by 3/31/2024
* Regular Attendance
* ASQ-3 Assessment

Parent Requirements
* Enrollment in our Family Success Coaching Program with a minimum of 4 meetings with our Family Success Coach over the course of the school year.
* Participation in at least one Parent Education Meeting.
* ASQ-3 Assessment review with Lead Teacher.
* Parent/Teacher conference(s).
* Homework and/or activities at home with student(s).
* Participation Fee: $25 due at registration and $25 due no later than February 1, 2025.
