Wildcatters Football 
in conjunction with GEYF (Golden Empire Youth Football)

Sophomore: Ages 9-10
Jr. Varsity:  Ages 11-12
Varsity:  Ages 13-14
**League age as of 11/15/2023

Registration Deadline:  Wednesday, June 21

$200 per player
Fees may be paid in full or in payments
$50 - initial payment, due at the time of registration
$75 - due no later than June 30
$75 - due no later than August 3 
(STOP Scholarship funds are available; see below for details)

Tryouts:  
Thursday, June 22
'A' Street Park
This is a competitive program/league.  Athletes must tryout; team assignment is not guaranteed.

Practices begin week of July 3:
(schedule below not confirmed/subject to change)
* Sophomore, 5:00-7:00pm (Tues-Wed-Thurs), 'A' Street Park
* Jr. Varsity, 5:00-7:00pm (Tues-Wed-Thurs), 'A' Street Park
* Varsity, 5:30-7:30pm (Tues-Wed-Thurs), TUHS Track

Games will take place in Taft and the greater Bakersfield area.  Some travel will be required; players are responsible for their own transportation.  Anticipated game dates are mid-August to early November.

Application deadline:  Tuesday, July 25
STOP Application - Wildcatters Football
1.  If interested, please submit an application at the link above.  
2.  We will contact you with the status of your application within 5 business days of submission.  
3.  A maximum of $75 is available to assist with your Wildcatters registration fees and can be applied at any time before the final August 3 payment deadline.
4.  Payments must be made in accordance with the payment schedule above, so please apply for approval at least one week in advance of when you would like to utilize funds.
